Opening in ****, The Standard, Lisbon marks our arrival in one of Europe's most exciting cities.
Set within the historic Palácio Santa Clara above the streets of Alf, the hotel blends heritage with a bold, contemporary spirit.
Rooted in food, music, art, and culture, the property will feature 170 guestrooms, 24 apartments, and a vibrant mix of bars, restaurants, café, pool deck, rooftop, event spaces, and 24-hour in-room dining.
As we enter pre-opening, we are seeking a Beverage Manager to help shape the hotel's bars and beverage experiences.
The role reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.
The Beverage Manager will lead all beverage activity across the hotel during pre-opening and beyond.
Responsibilities include developing and curating wine, cocktail, spirits, beer, and non-alcoholic menus across all outlets, including minibars and in-room dining; supporting recruitment and training of bar teams; overseeing OS&E ordering; managing supplier relationships; and supporting wider pre-opening projects to ensure all venues launch on time and on budget.
This is a hands-on role across multiple bars, terraces, event spaces, and a rooftop destination, requiring creativity, flexibility, and strong operational leadership.
A visible presence within the operation will ensure bars are consistently well presented and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
As part of The Standard culture, you will actively host guests across daily service, events, and nightlife programming, while leading and developing engaged, high-performing teams.
Requisitos
About You: You will have at least three years experience in a senior bar or beverage management role, ideally within a lifestyle hotel or multi-outlet business.
Pre-opening experience, nightlife exposure, cocktail development expertise, strong supplier relationships, and fluency in Portuguese and English are highly desirable.
