Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the Role
We are looking for a Senior QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and Agile delivery to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in ensuring high-quality software delivery across complex telecom and B2B systems, with a strong focus on automation, cloud testing, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Functional & Automation Testing
* Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Robot Framework and Playwright
* Execute manual testing for complex scenarios where automation is not feasible
* Perform end-to-end testing across web, APIs, backend systems, and data flows
* Develop and maintain API automation using Postman and RESTAssured
2. QA Ownership & Collaboration
* Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams in an Agile environment
* Take ownership of test strategy, planning, and execution at story and sprint level
* Mentor junior QA engineers on automation, API testing, and CI/CD practices
* Maintain clear and structured documentation (e.g., Confluence)
3. Test Management & Reporting
* Manage test cycles, test plans, and reporting
* Execute test cases and track defects using JIRA/Xray
* Ensure structured defect management and traceability
4. Continuous Improvement
* Drive innovation in QA by proposing improvements in automation and processes
* Explore and implement AI-driven testing approaches where relevant
Required Skills & Experience
* 7+ years of QA experience, including 2–3 years in automation
* Strong hands-on experience with Robot Framework, Selenium
* Experience in Telecom / B2B domain
* Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and story-level testing
* Experience with cloud testing in GCP
* Strong knowledge of SQL / MySQL
* Programming/scripting skills in Python and/or JavaScript
* Experience with API test automation (Postman, RESTAssured)
* Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) using Docker / Docker Compose
* Experience with test management tools (JIRA, Xray)
* ISTQB certification (or equivalent)
