The Role: Technical Business Analyst - PL/SQL background
(aka The Person Who Speaks Both "Banking" and "Code" Fluently)
Location: Lisbon
Work Model: 2 days a week onsite;
3 days remote from Portugal
Sector: Financial Services
? Languages: English (B2–C1)
Eligibility: Currently living in Portugal and be legally authorized to work there
You'll join a specialized squad working on a key core banking domain, collaborating between Lisbon and Geneva. Yes, that means international teamwork. Yes, that means smart people. Yes, that means coffee-fueled problem-solving across time zones.
Your Profile
University degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
BA experience (>
5 years)
Good working experience with with SQL or PL/SQL (preferably)
Comfortable with code reviews (giving and receiving — no ego battles here).
Experience with unit & integration testing (manual or automated).
Familiarity with Eclipse or similar IDEs.
Gherkin/Cucumber? Great. Not yet? We'll get you there
Proactive. Curious. Always asking "why?" and "how can we improve this?"
Genuinely interested in technology — especially in financial services.
Bonus points if you know banking systems — but it's not mandatory. We love transferable brains.
What You Will Be Doing
Partner with business teams to understand what they really need (not just what they say they need ).
Translate requirements into clean, effective IT solutions alongside developers and system architects.
Define and document test cases so we know things work before users tell us they don't.
Develop automated tests (Gherkin/Cucumber fans, this is your moment).
Run unit and acceptance testing (manual and automated — we believe in balance).
