Our rapidly growing tech startup in Funchal is looking for a Junior Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Developer you will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of our software applications. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects using cutting-edge technologies and collaborate with experienced developers to enhance your skills. Responsibilities Assist in the development and maintenance of software applications Write clean, efficient and well-documented code Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and debug issues Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas for improvements Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience 1+ year of experience in software development Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++ or Python Familiarity with database management systems (SQL, MySQL) Experience working with web development frameworks (e.g., AngularJS, React) Good problem‐solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment What we offer Competitive salary of €1400 per month Full‐time employment with flexible working hours Opportunity for growth and career advancement within the company A collaborative and supportive work environment that values creativity and innovation Location Our office is located in beautiful Funchal, the capital city of Madeira island.
