POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an Operational Permanent Controller (All Genders) based in Porto.
TEAM AND MISSION
You will join the Operational Permanent Controller – France (OPC France) team, supporting production teams in executing and formalizing controls to ensure data and accounting processes are compliant and secure, acting as the first line of defense.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Ensure timely production and delivery of controls in France according to regulations and standards.
* Prepare quarterly summaries of controls performed by Data & Accounting teams.
* Monitor and analyze control processes to improve understanding and efficiency.
* Provide training and support to stakeholders.
* Update controls based on evolving norms, guidelines, or processes.
* Coordinate between production and Finance Control teams.
* Maintain continuous reporting and communication with your team and manager.
REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's degree in Management, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in Accounting, Risk, Internal Control, Audit, or Compliance, preferably in insurance.
* Knowledge of internal control frameworks, audit techniques, and operational compliance.
* Fluency in French and English (minimum B2 level).
