Overview PwC Services Portugal (PSP) is a joint venture between PwC Luxembourg and PwC Portugal, serving as an integral extension of PwC Luxembourg. For this opportunity, your CV must be submitted in English. Your Mission Within the Finance department comprising approximately 35 people, you will oversee all accounting functions and client billing functions for our extended team located in Portugal (3 to 5 people). You will implement best practices and collaborate with senior management based in Luxembourg to support strategic decision-making. This role requires a proven track record in general accounting, billing, and team management. Your Tasks Will Consist In Account Payable accounting (main role): Ensure suppliers invoice reception, obtain invoice approbation / purchase order, book invoices, prepare and process payment, ensure proper follow-up; Review staff expenses in accordance with applicable policy and prepare staff expenses reimbursement process; Contribute to monthly and annual closing tasks (reconciliation of balance sheet accounts related to accounts payable, preparation of audit files, etc...); Participate to optimisation and transformation projects. Billing And Account Receivable Accounting Understand our full billing process and accounting impacts to be able to prepare and issue accurate invoices to customers based on services rendered; When needed, assist in the follow up of overdue account receivables. Role Of Team Leader Responsible for overseeing all activities within the team; Acts as the main point of contact between the extended team and the management team in Luxembourg; Provides guidance, coaching, constructive feedback to develop the team. Let's Talk About You Hold a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; Have a good knowledge of VAT; Have a minimum of 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a similar industry; Are proficient in ERP systems (SAP will be an asset), advanced MS skills (Excel), Alteryx knowledge will be an asset; Are service-oriented and a good team-player; Demonstrate a strong attention to detail, have problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication skills; Possess proven people management skills, fostering a positive and productive team environment; Are fluent in English, knowledge of French will be an asset.
