Global Communications Specialist

Job Description
We are looking for a Global Communications Specialist to be part of our Global Marketing Team and work on building, rolling out, positioning and protecting a strong global brand across all markets, while ensuring consistency, clarity and recognition across a portfolio of established local product brands.
This role will take ownership of global communications, social media management and digital presence, acting transversally across all geographies (Portugal, Spain and Poland) and across seven independent product brands. The goal is to ensure that everything we communicate, externally and internally, is aligned with our global strategy, clearly positioned, and executed with consistency and impact.
You will lead the global rollout of Simplifae as the umbrella-brand, while refreshing and aligning the product brands under it, without compromising their own identity.
This includes overseeing our online presence and reputation, SEO strategy and website management, social media management, and earned media initiatives with a strong focus on press equivalent and visibility. You will also support internal communications and organization of events, ensuring clarity, alignment and engagement across the organization.
This is a highly collaborative, visible and transversal role, that requires strong ownership over results, a strategic mindset with strong execution capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Responsibilities
Lead the global rollout of the Simplifae brand, focused on building strong positioning for this umbrella-brand across all markets (Portugal, Spain, Poland);
Coordinate the refreshment of the product brands and marketing assets;
Own and evolve brand guidelines, templates, presentations and communication standards, acting as brand guardian;
Improve brand perception and ratings: manage and optimize online presence for the umbrella-brand and all product brands (in Google My Business, LinkedIn and other social media platforms), monitoring comments, reviews and mentions and putting improvement strategies in place;
Own the global SEO strategy for all brands and manage the websites once live, ensuring content accuracy, messaging consistency, performance and ongoing optimization;
Manage social media strategy and execution across brands (mainly focused on LinkedIn);
Lead earned media and PR-equivalent initiatives, positioning the brand in relevant media outlets and tracking press equivalent impact;
Support internal communications and events, ensuring clarity, consistency and alignment with company strategy, together with the People & Culture team;
Support the organization of external events whenever necessary, working together with the rest of the Marketing Team.
Education
Bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, Communication, Journalism, Management or other relevant field
Skills & Knowledge
Native Portuguese
Excellent command of English (written and spoken)
Ability to work with multiple brands, markets and stakeholders simultaneously
Strategic communication and storytelling skills
Experience in managing B2B social media and digital presence
Knowledge of SEO principles and website management (not technical)
Highly organized, attentive to detail and results-driven
Creative, autonomous and proactive
Knowledge of Spanish and/or Polish is valued
Experience
4+ years of relevant experience in communication, brand management or marketing
Proven experience in global or multi-market roles
Strong background in earned media / press relations is highly valued
Experience in B2B, SaaS or technology-driven environments is a strong plus
