SENIOR DATA SCIENTIST

Location:
Lisbon, 1 day a week in the office

Remote work available elsewhere in Portugal

Xcede is excited to collaborate with one of the world's largest gaming companies on expanding their Data Science & Machine Learning division. The company has extensive digital and B2C data due to its large user base and aims to leverage this data further with their strategic hiring plans.

They are looking to hire experienced Data Scientists at various levels:
Data Scientist, Senior Data Scientist, and Principal Data Scientist. Key project areas include Recommender Systems, Customer Personalisation, and related fields.

The organization boasts a strong ML leadership team from top tech companies, providing an excellent environment for skill development and innovative ideas.

Requirements

* Academic background in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar fields
* Several years of relevant commercial experience aligned with the role level
* Proven experience in designing impactful machine learning models
* Experience in deploying models to production
* Proficiency in Python with production-quality coding skills

Bonus Skills

* Experience with Recommender Systems
* PySpark expertise
* Azure DataBricks experience
* Deep Learning experience, including transformers
* Knowledge of Representation Learning
