Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced React Native Developer to join our team in Madeira and help build and scale high-performance mobile applications for both iOS and Android.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record developing and maintaining subscription-based apps, understands the full mobile product lifecycle from development to store release, and is passionate about delivering smooth, high-quality user experiences that leverage native platform capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop, maintain, and optimize React Native applications for iOS and Android.
* Integrate and manage in-app subscriptions (RevenueCat, StoreKit, Google Play Billing, or similar).
* Implement native features and OS-specific enhancements, including:
* iOS Live Activities, Widgets, and App Intents
* Android Widgets, Shortcuts, and Notifications
* Background services and push notifications
* Collaborate with design, product, and backend teams to deliver robust and scalable features.
* Ensure app stability, performance, and compliance with App Store and Google Play guidelines.
* Conduct code reviews, testing, and continuous optimization of the mobile codebase.
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience with React Native development.
* Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play.
* Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and performance optimization.
* Proven experience with subscription models, payments, and analytics integration.
* Familiarity with native iOS and Android SDKs for platform-specific feature development.
* Good to have: Experience with ad monetization, CI/CD pipelines, or OTA updates.
