This role serves as the technology thought leader for radiology and as a liaison between the IT departments and various business units, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support and enhance Radiology operations.This global role; is to seek the very best from all markets; rapidly propagate across remaining markets, as well as deploy Global Solutions and capabilities as well as constant scanning the external landscape for solutions that drive increased patient care, customer satisfaction, operational excellence.The role is expected to champion our unwavering and steadfast determination to digitise Radiology (end to end), and fulfil our borderless strategy, and ultimately link the processing of 7mio images (internal and external) with our pool of 700 skilled radiologists improving patient outcomes and driving efficiencies.The individual in this position possesses a deep understanding of both IT systems and business processes, enabling them to facilitate communication, identify opportunities for innovation, and drive strategic initiatives that contribute to the overall success of the business.There may be a requirement to travel as required by the business.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic AlignmentCollaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and objectives for RadiologyTranslate these objectives into actionable IT strategies and initiatives that support the organization\'s overall vision and missionProvide current thinking on with all technology advancements within the RAD modalityBusiness Relationship ManagementCultivate strong relationships with stakeholders both internal and external, serving as a trusted advisor on IT-related mattersAct as a bridge between Radiology SBU; Radiology Operations; Tele Radiology and the business units IT departments, advocating for the needs and priorities of all partiesNeeds AssessmentConduct thorough assessments of business processes and workflows to identify areas where technology can drive efficiency, innovation, and competitive advantageWork closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop solutions that address their specific needsSolution DevelopmentCollaborate with IT teams to design, develop, and implement technology solutions that align with business requirementsEnsure that proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and cost-effective, considering factors such as budget constraints and resource availabilityProject and Change ManagementOversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects related to Radiology functionsMonitor project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that milestones are met and objectives are achieved according to the agreed-upon scope and quality standardsFacilitate organizational change by promoting the adoption of new technologies and processesProvide training, guidance, and support to end-users to ensure smooth transitions and maximize the benefits of implemented solutionsPerformance MonitoringEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the effectiveness and impact of IT initiatives on Radiology outcomesRegularly assess and report on the performance of IT systems and processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimizationRisk ManagementIdentify potential risks and vulnerabilities associated with IT solutions and Radiology operationsDevelop strategies to mitigate these risks and ensure the security, integrity, and compliance of data and systemsVendor ManagementOwn the Sectra relationship (PACS), ensuring that Unilabs achieves value for money; strategic relationships with RIS and AI vendorsRequirements5+ years\' experience in deploying technology to support Radiology (elective and emergency) including AI and advanced analyticsExperience of Digital transformation of the end-to-end processes, with strong customer UX/UI focusKnowledge of IT systems and technologies, RIS, PACS, reporting tools and integration technologies, as well comprehensive IT architectures in the radiology spaceSolid project management abilities with a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering IT projects on time and within budgetStrategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex issues and develop innovative solutionsBold and ambitious.
