QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor or Master's degree in Structural Civil Engineer with a minimum experience of 7 years.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· Minimum of 7 years of experience in steel structures design.
· Will and motivation to develop and share design skills.
· Knowledge in structures design software (Autodesk Robot: preferred; SAP2000: valued).
· CAD software knowledge (AutoCAD: mandatory, Inventor or similar: valued).
· Analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
· Self-motivated and proactive attitude.
· Team leadership skills.
· Team player and good communication skills.
· Well organized and reliable.
· Ability and motivation to work in design of special and diverse structural components.
· Microsoft Excel knowledge (advanced skills are valued).
· English skills (verbal and written).
· French or German skills are valued.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
· Design of steel structures according to relevant regulations.
· Define relevant actions and combinations applicable to the structure being developed.
· Develop structural model of the structure.
· Evaluate design of structure members and detail design of the connections.
· Prepare calculation notes from the structure.
· Analysis of bridge construction process and evaluate the specific requirements of the project.
· Cooperate with other team member to reach efficient solutions for the project, complying with project budget goals and deadlines.
· Interact with other project specialities, as hydraulic and electric, ensuring a perfect match between all components of the equipment.
· Provide detail information for modelling the structures and ensure the information shared for manufacturing is reliable.
· Interact and manage information with external engineering offices.
· Follow-up the manufacturing process providing necessary support to the manufacturer.
· Develop design tools for internal use.
