What we do at AMGEN matters in people's lives.Supply Chain Manager What you will doEnsure supply leveraging the service level agreements and adhere to a cost effective European distribution strategy.Execute with a strong focus on cold chain management and timely and correct transportation of Amgen shipments.Establish and maintain an external and internal network enabling EU Supply Chain to advance on priorities and key initiatives.Document and maintain procedures relating to cold chain for the effective transportation of Amgen products from source to customer.Apply Continuous improvement principles while designing, implementing and sustaining distribution solutions with focus on cold chain.Implement best in class solution for supply chain partner management.ResponsibilitiesEnsure supply, meet service levels and stay within budget in a GDP compliant way.Develop, select and implement cold chain solutions in the Amgen Supply chain.Perform regular performance and business reviews with supply chain partners on current business, escalations, reporting and improvements.Support internal stakeholders in escalating issues to supply chain partners by maintaining excellent relationships with third parties on appropriate management level.Maintain and manage agreements with supply chain partners.Showcase continuous improvement mindset to identify savings and other efficiency opportunities and drive results to finish line while improving quality, performance and GDP compliance.Assess implications of emerging trends or country legislation changes that may affect current distribution solution and cold chain practices.Build internal network within affiliates and corporate functions and participate in projects to achieve results in line with Global Distribution Hub EMEA priorities and key initiatives.Plan, build and manage distribution lanes for the region.WIN What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients.CompetenciesAnalytical and conceptual thinkingNegotiation and influencing skills, organizational sensitivityNetworking & cross-functional stakeholder engagementResults drivenOperational Excellence and transformation mindsetQualifications The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.Minimum RequirementsMaster degree or equivalent related to Supply Chain/Logistics, Change Management or Industrial Engineering & 2 years of directly related experience5+ years experience in the logistics industry, in a role of supplier managementSupply chain, cold chain and warehousing expertiseSolid experience in project management across departments and geographiesExperience managing suppliers and improving processesQuick process understanding, insight and visualizingFluent in English, both in verbal and written communicationStrong analytical skills (incl.
