Database administrators play a crucial role in the heart of an organisation, surrounded by expertise. They manage database environments: from initial setup to management and support within local datacenters or the cloud.
As a system administrator, you will be responsible for daily operations of database deployments worldwide. You will install, configure, and maintain different types of databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB. Automation and tools like Ansible are also key areas of focus.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Installation and configuration of PostgreSQL, MySQL and MongoDB software;
* Creation of new and migration of existing databases;
* Daily maintenance of customer databases: backups, monitoring, capacity management, etc.;
* Open-source database support for customers;
* Performance tuning and best practice implementations;
* Preventive maintenance of customer databases: checking performance, tuning parameters, patch level management, etc. Recommendations will be discussed and implemented with the customer later on;
* Ensure accurate documentation is created, maintained and up-to-date.
What do you bring to the team?
* Knowledge of PostgreSQL;
* Knowledge of MySQL and/or MariaDB;
* Knowledge or interest in MongoDB;
* Linux operating system knowledge;
* Monitoring software knowledge is a plus;
* Performance tuning experience is a plus;
* Cloud experience is a plus;
* Team-oriented attitude and ability to work autonomously;
