Role Overview:
We are looking for a
Piping Inspector (Site)
to integrate our teams in Sines, Portugal. This role will support the QAQC department on-site, ensuring compliance with project standards, local regulations, and construction codes throughout the execution of piping works.
What you will do:
Support the Project QAQC Manager in all quality control activities and act as deputy when required;
Represent QAQC and Inspection functions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and project procedures;
Perform QAQC activities including attending meetings, responding to RFIs, and conducting inspections;
Verify conformity with contractual requirements during construction, erection, and installation phases;
Manage and update QAQC documentation using IT tools such as EasyPlant and GAIA;
Analyse contractor data and monitor KPI evolution;
Identify and report deviations affecting quality or delivery, coordinate recovery actions, and follow up on resolution;
Contribute to technical evaluations of construction-related offers;
Support performance evaluations of contractors and inspection agencies.
What you are like:
Technical Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering;
Proficient in piping works and site-based inspection activities;
Skilled in reporting and documentation of compliance with standards and specifications;
Capable of producing clear, precise, and accurate reports aligned with construction codes and project requirements;
Knowledgeable in ENDS standards and certified as a Level II Visual Welding Inspector;
Fluent in Spanish and English, with Portuguese also required.
