/pp Key Responsibilities /pp· Support the global engineering strategy for the company#39;s products that align with the organization#39;s market position and enable tailored design solutions to be developed that meet the specific needs and challenges of cloud-based environments.
/pp· Provide engineering and design expertise, as part of the global engineering team, proposing creative solutions, supporting a culture of creativity, innovation and excellence.
/pp· Collaborate with customers to understand their design requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and work cross functionally with internal teams (i.e. project management, sales, RD, engineering, manufacturing) to ensure seamless integration of designs (from concept to full scale manufacturing).
/pp· Support the integration of innovative technologies and sustainable engineering practices into product offerings.
/pp· Complete conceptualization and visualization of design projects, in line with the company#39;s commitment to excellence at each stage of development.
/pp· Utilize cutting-edge engineering tools and methodologies to create compelling presentations and prototypes.
/pp· Support the development and implementation of standardized engineering practices, ensuring consistency and quality across all regions with all engineering efforts fully aligned with the organization#39;s brand identity and messaging.
/pp· Foster collaborative relationships with key customers to co-create design solutions that meet their evolving needs.
/pp· Provide regular reports and updates to the Lead Product Design Engineer on performance, milestones, and potential risks.
/pp Qualifications, Experience Skills /pp Education: A bachelor#39;s degree in Design, Engineering, or a related field.
/pp Experience: Proven experience of no less than 3 years in an engineering/design role, preferably in a regional context within the data centre or construction industry.
/pp Skills /pp· Strong attention to detail and planning skills with a track record of driving design innovation.
/pp· Experience designing products/systems for critical infrastructure projects like oil gas, chemical processing, power generation or data centre is preferred.
/pp· Experience designing integrated modular or skid systems will be advantageous.
/pp· Knowledge of cloud-based environments and their impact on design requirements is preferred.
/pp· Excellent proficiency in English (main language of communication with customers colleagues globally) /pp· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
/pp· Proficiency in design tools and 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Onshape (preferred)).
/pp· Ability to travel occasionally, as required.
