System Architect Role
We're seeking an accomplished IT professional to spearhead our system infrastructure. As a key player in our dynamic team, you will ensure the security and integrity of our systems and customer data.
* You'll maintain the availability of IT systems and services for our global organization with multiple locations and data centers.
* You'll administer, configure, and troubleshoot computing systems based on Microsoft Windows server and VMware technologies.
* You'll manage the availability and capacity of Netapp storage devices.
* You'll provide 2nd-level support for incidents, requests, and changes related to Active Directory, Windows Server, Virtualization, backup, and storage management, following ITIL methodology.
* You'll ensure system recoverability by actively monitoring and maintaining daily backup processes.
* You'll proactively monitor and improve IT systems to provide optimal performance.
* You'll participate in projects related to designs, upgrades, optimizations, and migrations of business acquisitions.
* You'll communicate, work with, and coordinate actions with third-parties and external consultants.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
* Hands-on technical experience in administering and supporting Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMWare systems.
* Understanding of SAN and NAS storage systems (Netapp).
* Knowledge of IT systems environments, including operating systems, networking, applications, databases, and storage.
* Working knowledge of scripting (Powershell).
* Understanding of the ITIL processes.
* Ability to organize tasks and cooperate with team members from other countries and timezones.
* Very good command of English (both written and spoken).
