We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our organization. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of operational purchasing tasks, communication with customers, data completion and validation, and performing additional administrative tasks.
Main Responsibilities:
* Purchasing Tasks: Accurate and timely execution of operational purchasing tasks;
* Customer Communication: Communication with customers on a professional level;
* Data Management: Data completion and validation of purchase requisition and purchase orders;
* Invoice Clarification: Invoice clarification, CCM alerts handling and follow-up activities;
* Administrative Tasks: Performing additional administrative tasks related to the job;
* Process Improvement: Investigating, suggesting and working on improvements;
* Knowledge Sharing: Explaining processes to colleagues and sharing know-how with other teams;
* Documentation: Preparing and updating handbooks.
Requirements:
* Educational Background: Minimum high school degree; university degree is a plus;
* Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory) and fluency in French will be a plus;
* Skillset: Excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office tools;
* Additional Skills: Good knowledge of SAP is a plus;
* Personal Qualities: Team player, flexibility, multitasking, initiative and change orientation, learning attitude, great communication skills, decision-making, result and quality orientation, and customer focus.
