Job Title: Compensation Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced compensation specialist to join our team. As a key member of our payroll department, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely compensation processing for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
* Complete payroll runs and subsequent activities, including results validation, salary disbursement, and statutory submissions.
* Prepare and monitor payroll data, ensuring compliance with local country requirements and regulations.
* Conduct start-of-year and end-of-year payroll administration activities, working closely with third-party vendors.
* Manage and maintain company payroll processes, responding to and processing requests for changes to payroll data.
* Monitor payroll input data quality and process payroll impacts.
* Administer disbursements, perform statutory collections, filing, and reporting.
* Support audits and regulatory requests for payroll data.
* Administer employee compensation, including bonus calculations and annual pay reviews.
* Implement changes in response to legislation updates that impact payroll and time administration activities.
* Work with third-party providers to investigate payroll queries.
Requirements:
* Degree in Human Resources Management or Social Sciences equivalent discipline.
* Experience as an HR administrative assistant, preferably in a shared services environment.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups of people.
* Ability to ask relevant questions, attempt resolution, and escalate problems if unable to resolve.
* Ownership and capability of working independently, taking initiative, and following up on assigned projects.
* Confidentiality and sensitivity when handling personnel matters.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Proficiency in IT, with experience leveraging various tools to obtain required information.
