Overview The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, standardizing, and supporting enterprise network solutions across global manufacturing and corporate locations. This role provides technical leadership and governance for LAN, WAN, SD‐WAN, and Wireless services, ensuring secure, scalable, and highly available connectivity aligned with enterprise standards. The position works closely with global IT teams, project managers, vendors to deliver infrastructure refreshes, site deployments, and network transformation initiatives by maintaining the standard documentation and technical designs. Required Qualifications Experience ~10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering or design Experience supporting large, global, multi-region environments Proven ability to operate as a technical lead or subject-matter expert Technical Skills Strong expertise in: LAN & Switching WAN / SD‐WAN architectures Wireless (enterprise and/or industrial Wi‐Fi) Datacenter LAN Technologies (VX-LAN) Experience working with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst devices, Cisco wireless, Aryaka SD-WAN, Zscaler and Palo Alto security Professional Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, good English skills High ownership, documentation discipline, and attention to standards The ability to interface across the organization with other teams, such as Business operations, System Delivery, Functional Delivery, Application Development, VMO, Infrastructure Operations and Service Delivery, auditors, Legal, Information security personnel etc. Preferred Qualifications Cisco certifications (CCNP and greater) Experience in manufacturing or OT network environments Exposure to cloud connectivity (AWS/Azure) Exposure to Telephony Solutions (MS Teams, Cisco and cloud-based contact center solutions) Key Responsibilities Design and govern enterprise LAN, WAN, SD‐WAN, and Wireless architectures for global sites Develop and maintain standard network designs, templates, and Bills of Materials (BoMs) Subject Matter Expert skills leading SD‐WAN and global connectivity services, including circuit upgrades, site activations, and vendor coordination Support site lifecycle activities: new sites, upgrades, consolidations, and site closures Design and approve segmented and isolated network environments (e.g., IoT, OT, POC, innovation labs) Provide technical oversight for wireless solutions, including industrial and manufacturing environments Review and validate vendor designs, implementation plans, and cutover strategies Collaborate with PMOs, regional IT, and system integrators to ensure successful delivery Produce clear technical documentation, approvals, and executive-ready summaries Ensure compliance with enterprise security, audit, and change-management standards by working closely with Information Security team Function – Global IT – Network & Infrastructure Services Location – Global Support Role, Working from Setubal - Hybrid Reporting To – IT Manager – Enterprise Networks & Telephony Services #J-18808-Ljbffr
