Our Transport Infrastructures Business Unit is looking to strengthen its Roads and Railways division with a Junior Engineer, based at our Alfragide office. The ideal candidate will have experience in the development of Roads and Railways projects.
* Develop innovative solutions for Roads and Railways projects;
* Ensure timely delivery of projects;
* Perform complex calculations, including geometric design, earthworks and drainage, using specialized software;
* Ensure compliance with national and international regulations;
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create optimized designs;
* Prepare comprehensive technical reports and project summaries;
* Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering;
* Proven track record in Roads and Railways project development;
* Minimum 1 year of professional experience in similar roles;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and specialized software for roads and railways calculations; knowledge of BIM solutions will be valued;
* Strong ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing project requirements;
* Autonomy, proactivity and a results-driven mindset;
* Excellent communication skills and team spirit;
* Focus on technical excellence and strong problem-solving skills;
* Fluency in English, both written and spoken (knowledge of other languages will be considered an asset).
