About the Job
The Documentation Drafting and Matching Analyst is responsible for ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the risk undertaken by the business lines.
A wide range of products are traded by the Trading desk including Options, Swaps, Forwards, within Oil, Metals, Softs, Energy, Power and Gas and Equities.
The Documentation team's primary function is to support the Trading and Sales desks through the drafting of OTC Physical confirmations for mainly all trades dealt with counterparties.
Your Main Activities
- Draft legal confirmations based on ISDA definitions for all products including Swaps, Forwards, Options and Hybrid Strategies.
- Review trade risk booking and term sheets to ensure they are in line before sending documentation to clients.
- Monitor workflows to ensure confirmations are prioritised accordingly and dispatch them in a timely manner.
- Meet regulator timelines targets.
- Issue post-trade event notifications to clients such as exercises, restructures and partial or total terminations.
- Serve as the internal point of escalation on documentation and template queries.
- Daily liaison with customers on discrepancies and assist in redrafting confirmations to meet their needs.
- Solve discrepancies on incoming confirmations and manage litigations or affirmations requests from clients.
- Ensure the correct working of the matching electronic platforms.
- Maintain effective working relationships with Front office Trading and Sales, Legal, Compliance, IT and other operational areas in London, Paris, Montreal, Singapore and globally through daily interactions.
Profile and Skills for Success
- Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance and/or Accounting.
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office Pack, especially Microsoft Excel.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate and work as part of a team.
- Rigour and attention to detail.

About the Team
The team performs a critical control role in the timely reconciliation of bookings with the confirmation and term sheet.
It is also responsible for notifying all post-trade events with clients.
The team ensures that all issues are controlled, reported and fixed by working closely with traders, salespeople, strategists, IT and Legal, Credit and Compliance.
Process improvements focus on STP processing and management of risk and controls, new product initiatives and development of new business in all regions.
