Logoplaste Innovation Lab is currently recruiting a Raw Material Consultant to join the Raw Materials team. Reporting directly to the Raw Material Regulatory and Compliance Manager, you will work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team. Job Summary This role combines technical expertise with project management to identify, evaluate, and implement raw materials that meet business, regulatory, and sustainability requirements. Key Tasks & Activities Research and evaluate raw materials to identify the best fit for packaging and manufacturing requirements. Support material selection to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliable supply. Identify and test new materials that enhance innovation, performance, sustainability, or cost. Maintain accurate technical data for materials in company systems. Collaborate with suppliers to resolve technical issues, perform audits, conduct testing, and share best practices. Monitor and stay updated with regulations related to plastic materials (food contact, environmental, recycling, REACH). Ensure all materials and projects comply with applicable legal and regulatory standards. Provide regulatory compliance guidance to operations and project teams. Collect and review technical documentation from suppliers to confirm compliance. Define and support testing activities (e.g., migration tests, calculations, simulations) to demonstrate regulatory compliance. Qualifications Background and Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, or similar). Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar function. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of polymer science. Knowledge of global legislation applicable to plastic materials and packaging (Europe, FDA, Mercosur). Expertise in the definition and development of migration tests, including worst‐case scenario. Capability to prepare and conduct technical training sessions. Good knowledge of food safety. Proficiency in office tools (mainly Excel) and SAP system. Fluent in Portuguese and English (spoken and written). Interpersonal Skills Ability to work in a multinational, fast‐growing environment. Team spirit. Proficiency in data analysis. Autonomous and proactive. Available to travel.
