Job Overview
* We are seeking a Site Manager to lead the construction of an Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) system and geothermal pipelines at a geothermal power plant in Portugal.
Responsibilities:
* Project Management: Coordinate and oversee all mechanical works including ORC plant installations, geothermal pipelines, and mechanical auxiliaries.
* Supervision and Coordination: Supervise subcontractors and ensure works are executed per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
* Quality Control: Review and monitor installation procedures, welding and NDT reports, ensuring compliance with ASME, EN, and ISO standards.
* Documentation and Communication: Organize and control pre-commissioning activities, manage documentation, lead daily site coordination meetings, and liaise with QA/QC, consultants, and client representatives.
* HSE and Technical Guidance: Ensure strict adherence to HSE rules, provide technical guidance to resolve on-site issues, and support planning with inputs on manpower, equipment, and material needs.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
* Minimum 7-10 years in site supervision and management of mechanical works, preferably in geothermal, power plants, or large industrial projects.
* Proven track record in pipeline erection and ORC/power generation equipment installation.
Required Skills:
* Fluent English - mandatory.
* Portuguese - an asset.
