At TEKEVER, we lead innovation in Europe as the European leader in unmanned technology. We operate across four strategic areas, combining artificial intelligence, systems engineering, data science, and aerospace technology to tackle global challenges. Our solutions deliver real‐time intelligence for maritime safety and space exploration. Role We are looking for an Aeronautical Engineer at the intersection of Aircraft Design and Engineering Tools. You will design UAVs and refine the digital tools that validate them, working directly with product teams to optimize configurations using our internal calculation framework. What you will be doing Aircraft Design & Optimization: Collaborate on the conceptual and preliminary design of new UAV configurations, performing sizing and trade‐off studies. Simulation & Dynamics: Develop and tune flight models and contribute to system identification efforts to ensure our digital models match reality. Performance Analysis and Framework Support: Run mission analysis and stability calculations to support design decisions for both new and legacy aircraft. Automate performance calculations, flight load estimations, and data processing. Maintain and improve our internal engineering tools. Prototyping & Validation: Translate theoretical designs into physical proof‐of‐concepts (3D printing/composites) and support flight testing to gather validation data. Profile and Requirements Education: Degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience: 1–6 years in aircraft design, simulation, or performance analysis. Technical Skills: Solid fundamentals in Aerodynamics and Flight Dynamics. Working knowledge of Python: comfortable writing scripts to automate calculations, process data, or modify existing engineering tools. Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) for rapid prototyping designs. The Mindset: A system thinker who enjoys optimizing workflows and isn't afraid to get hands dirty with a prototype or complex dataset. Bonus Points Experience with flight dynamic modelers. Familiarity with CFD tools. Fundamentals in Aircraft Structures. Involvement in university aero‐design competitions (Air Cargo, DBF, Formula Student). Experience piloting RC aircraft (A1‐A3/A2). Language Requirements English: B2 – Professional Working Proficiency. Portuguese: B2 – Professional Working Proficiency (Preferred). What we have to offer you An excellent work environment and an opportunity to make a difference. Salary compatible with the level of proven experience.
