Media IT Support Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Media IT Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for implementing and supporting advanced media asset management (MAM) integration projects for our clients.
Responsibilities:
* Design, implement and maintain MAM systems for our clients, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure
* Work closely with clients to gather requirements and develop system specifications
* Develop and maintain test and integration environments, collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
* Integrate third-party systems via RESTful APIs, leveraging your expertise in software development and IT infrastructure
* Provide 2nd and 3rd level support, including issue analysis, updates, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal system performance
* Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, training customer support teams to ensure knowledge transfer
* Contribute to process improvements for project delivery and support, driving efficiency and quality across the organization
Requirements:
* Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience
* Experience with media IT systems and MAM software is highly desirable
* Understanding of broadcast/media workflows and technologies is an advantage
* Knowledge of video/audio codecs and file formats is essential
* Proficiency in SQL, RESTful APIs, and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Java, Perl, or C#
* Familiarity with Linux server administration, Kubernetes, Docker, and AWS services is required
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues using OpenSearch dashboards and OpenTelemetry metrics/logs
* Familiarity with tools like GitHub, Docker, OpenSearch, Ansible, or Chef is an advantage
* Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
* Self-driven, analytical, and collaborative mindset, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results
* Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential
* Willingness to travel and participate in client-facing activities
