Designs, develops, and maintains Power BI reports, dashboards, andPower BI semantic models, ensuring accuracy, performance, scalability, and appropriate reuse of datasets across reports. Defines and manages semantic model structures including measures, calculated columns, hierarchies, relationships, and business logic, ensuring consistent definitions (single source of truth) across reporting solutions. Collaborates with IT Architecture, data platform teams, and external specialists to ensure Power BI solutions integrate correctly with upstream data sources (e.g., Databricks, SAP, SQL-based platforms) and comply with architectural standards. Supports or is responsible for the release, deployment, and lifecycle management of Power BI solutions, including coordination of changes, versioning, and production rollouts. Executes change activities including development, testing, validation, documentation, communication, and user training related to Power BI reports and semantic models. Provides day-to-day, customer-facing support for Power BI users, including issue investigation, performance troubleshooting, and functional guidance. Monitors and communicates risks, issues, and improvement opportunities related to Power BI solutions, data quality, and semantic model integrity to relevant stakeholders. Delivers work according to agreed plans and SLAs where applicable, providing regular progress updates to management and business stakeholders. Evaluates and contributes to decisions on analytics tools, features, or external providers used in the Power BI ecosystem, in alignment with preferred supplier frameworks and internal standards. Ensures all activities are performed in full alignment with company standards, SOPs, and relevant GxP requirements where applicable; supports regulatory and Health Authority inspections as required.Desired Profile: University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or another relevant field, or equivalent practical experience. 3 to 5 years of experience in Power BI, BI analytics, or data-focused IT analyst roles. Strong understanding of Power BI semantic models, DAX, and data modeling principles. Experience working with enterprise data sources and collaborating with data engineering and architecture teams.
