We are looking for an experienced IT Application Consultant SAP Sales & CRM to join the SGL Global Competence Center Sales & Logistics.
In this role, you will support and enhance our global Sales systems landscape, with a particular focus on SAP, integrated add-ons, and MS Dynamics solutions.
Take responsibility for process-driven requirements definition, problem analysis, and sustainable solution design based on SAP, MS Dynamics, and related tools.
Design, configure, and document new solutions in SAP SD Sales, including technical specifications for ABAP developments.
Handle tickets and support incident resolution with a strong focus on SAP SD Sales customization and root-cause analysis.
Support the governance of the CRM solution landscape, including demand management, requirements analysis, and evaluation of implementation options.
Pre-filter and prioritize CRM tickets before handing them over to external support partners and coordinate supplier activities accordingly.
Support the Change Approval Board process in line with internal ITIL standards and contribute to structured change management.
Monitor external supplier performance for CRM services, with attention to service quality, budget compliance, and AMS governance.
Contribute to international implementation and upgrade projects in the SAP Sales & CRM area.
Support key users in implementing approved process changes and act as a first point of contact for external IT partners.
Your Profile:
University degree in IT or a comparable qualification.
At least 3 years of experience in IT consulting for SAP SD, with a focus on Sales.
Good understanding of Sales-related business processes, including pre-sales.
Experience in SAP SD configuration, ticket handling, and the translation of business requirements into practical system solutions.
Familiarity with project management methods and experience working in project-related environments.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent communication skills in English; German knowledge is a plus.
Team player willing to collaborate in an international environment and travel occasionally.
