We're a small, fast-moving team, and we're looking for an experienced Senior or Lead Backend Developer to help us scale our high-traffic, minimalist infrastructure to the next level.
What You'll Do:
- Lead and mentor our technical team.
- Own and evolve our backend infrastructure used by millions globally.
- Write high-quality, maintainable code and deploy quickly.
- Work closely with our product and frontend teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Handle DevOps responsibilities and optimize system performance and reliability.
Our Tech Stack:
- Frontend: ReactJS
- Backend: NodeJS (Express)
- Database: DynamoDB
- Cloud: AWS (S3, DynamoDB, EC2, CloudFront, SQS)
- Payments: Stripe APIs
Requirements:
- Must be able to work within UK timezone
- 5+ years of professional backend development experience
- Strong experience with AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, EC2, CloudFront, SQS)
- Experience integrating and managing Stripe APIs
- Comfortable with DevOps and infrastructure management
- Passion for building scalable, reliable systems
