Role Overview
We are seeking an Italian-speaking Content Moderator to join our team in Porto. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resilient, and capable of working in fast-paced environments. You will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and moderating user-generated content to ensure it complies with platform policies and community guidelines.
This role requires excellent judgement, emotional maturity, and strong cultural awareness of the Italian market.
Key Responsibilities
* Review reported content (text, image, video, audio) to ensure compliance with platform policies.
* Identify and remove content that violates safety standards, including harmful, abusive, misleading, or illegal material.
* Evaluate trends, escalating critical or ambiguous cases when necessary.
* Maintain a high level of accuracy and performance against quality KPIs.
* Work with cross-functional teams to improve internal policies and user experience.
* Protect user safety by ensuring rapid and correct decision-making.
Requirements
Essential
* Native/advanced Italian speaker.
* Good command of English (for training and communication).
* High attention to detail and strong analytical thinking.
* Emotional resilience and ability to work with sensitive content.
* Already based in Porto or nearby areas.
* Availability to work 24/7 rotational shifts.
Preferred
* Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, trust & safety, or related fields.
* Understanding of Italian culture, social media trends, and digital environments.
* Ability to follow strict guidelines and achieve personal performance goals.
Work Schedule
24/7 Rotative Shifts (Fully On-site):
* 07:00 – 16:00
* 14:00 – 23:00
* 22:30 – 07:30
Two days off per week, rotating.
