Job Overview
The Export Logistics Coordinator role involves managing the customer experience for Europe export clients. This includes coordinating order bookings, proactively handling issues and exceptions, managing carrier allocations, consolidating shipments, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures.
* Coordinate order bookings with shippers and service providers
* Manage carrier allocations and consolidate shipments
* Proactively handle issues and exceptions
* Submit accurate data into Order Management Information Systems
* Collect and validate cargo receipts and documentation
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
1. Managing daily operations of the Export Logistics team
2. Coordinating shipments and logistics services
3. Liaising with customers and suppliers to resolve issues
4. Providing pre-alert information to stakeholders
5. Addressing internal and/or customer inquiries (Issue Resolution)
6. Monitoring shipment milestones and deadlines
7. Accurately maintaining customer information in internal systems
Requirements
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or professional education in logistics, 2–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, ability to build relationships, explain logistics workflows clearly, systematic approach to daily tasks, and proficiency in operational tools like Transport Management Systems.
