Scrum Master Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in an agile environment and wants to contribute to delivering high-quality outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, ensuring focus, alignment, and accountability. They will also partner with the Product Manager to balance delivery priorities, scope, and timelines across squads.
This role requires excellent facilitation and communication skills, as well as experience managing delivery across multiple squads. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Agile frameworks and delivery practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) for two squads, ensuring focus, alignment, and accountability.
* Partner with the Product Manager to balance delivery priorities, scope, and timelines across squads.
* Collaborate with Tech Leads across engineering, QA, and other capabilities to coordinate dependencies and unblock delivery.
* Maintain visibility of delivery progress, risks, and issues across the value stream, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
* Coordinate with other PMs, TLs, and ADLs across the business to manage cross-team dependencies.
* Drive continuous improvement within the squads, fostering a culture of learning and adaptability.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Scrum Master or similar role in an agile environment.
* Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar) and delivery practices.
* Experience managing delivery across multiple squads.
* Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
* Experience working in a value stream or product-based delivery model.
