We're now looking for aBack End Developerto help us scale our marketplace, integrate with key tools (like Shopify), and power logistics and verification systems that sit behind the scenes of every beautiful piece that goes live on Curiouz.
If you love clean, reliable codeandthe idea of giving second (and third) lives to design icons, keep reading.What you'll work on You will be responsible for building and maintaining the "invisible" side of Curiouz – the APIs, integrations, and services that make the platform feel simple for our users:
Develop and maintain back-end services inPHP (Laravel)
Design and optimiseMy SQLdata models, complex queries, and performance
Build and consumeREST APIsused by our front end, internal tools, and partners
Implement and maintainsystem integrations(internal tools, logistics, payments, etc.)
Work withGraph QLandShopify integrationsto support our marketplace and B2 B flows
Contribute to and maintainautomated teststo keep our platform stable as we grow
Support deployment and hosting workflows ( Cloudways ,Vercel ) and help improve our CI/CD practices
Collaborate closely with our product, front-end, and operations teams to turn real marketplace needs into robust technical solutionsWhat we're looking for (hard skills) You'll be a great fit technically if you have:
Solid experience withPHPand theLaravel framework
StrongSQL/My SQLskills: data modeling, complex queries, and query optimisation
Experience withREST APIdevelopment and integration
Experience withsystem integrations(third-party services, internal APIs, etc.)
A strong foundation inlogic and algorithms
Experience withGraph QLandShopify integrations
Familiarity withCloudways
Knowledge ofautomated testing(e.g. PHPUnit, Pest or similar)
Experience with deployment and hosting onVercel(or similar platforms)What we'd love (soft stuff)You're curious by nature – you like understanding the "why" behind a feature, not just the "what".
