The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in administration and support of Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMware systems. They will also have a strong understanding of SAN and NAS storage systems, including Netapp. In addition, they should have knowledge of IT systems environments, operating systems, networking, applications, databases, and storage.
Responsibilities:
* Ensure the security and integrity of company systems and customer data
* Maintain the availability of IT systems and services for international companies with multiple locations worldwide
* Administer, configure, and troubleshoot computing systems based on Microsoft Windows server and VMware technologies
* Manage Netapp storage devices for availability and capacity
* Solve current incidents, fulfill requests, and implement changes related to Active Directory, Windows Server, Virtualization, backup, and storage management while adhering to ITIL methodology
* Monitor and maintain daily backup processes to ensure system recoverability
* Pro-actively monitor and improve IT systems to provide optimal performance
* Participate in projects related to designs, upgrades, optimization, and migrations of business acquisitions
Requirements:
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar position
* Hands-on technical experience in administration and support of Windows Server, Active Directory, and VMWare systems
* Understanding of SAN and NAS storage systems (Netapp)
* Knowledge of IT systems environments, including operating systems, networking, applications, databases, and storage
* Working knowledge of scripting (Powershell)
* Understanding of the ITIL processes
* Ability to organize tasks and cooperate with team members from other countries and timezones
* Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)
