TheSenior AP Accountantwill be a key member of the team and play a critical role to achieve this objective.Responsibilities will include, among others:P2P process: receiving and processing invoices, assure communication to and from allPoint of Contact for internal and external stakeholdersReview and assure proper classification of cost center and accounts on POsWeekly and Month-end closing procedures including aging reportsProcess PaymentsAssist manager and peers on the daily activityPerforming Ad Hoc Accounts Payable and Procurement duties as requiredReconcile AP accounts on a monthly basisCollaboration with local finance specialists to accounting, tax, annual reports etc. to ensure adherence to local legislationLocationThe position will be based inLisbon (Portugal)Reports and organization structureThis position will report hierarchically to theShared Services Center Manager,based in Lisbon and functionally to theHead of AP teambased in Antony (Paris) France.Experience and QualificationsWe see this role as critical for the achievement of Verisure's growth and organizational transformation goals while the Shared Services Center aims for centralization and automation.As a result, we are looking for a self-starterand high potential/ top performerindividual who will combine Accounting knowledgewith a proactive business mindset focused on driving value to the business.Education degree in Finance / Economics / Accounting / Business with deep understanding of Accounting and financial concepts (qualified accountant ideal)Strong interest for AccountingExperienced professional with approx.
