C++ Software Engineering Opportunity
We are looking for a skilled C++ software engineer to drive the development of our in-house real-time video encoding and transcoding platform. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing performance-critical C++ components for encoding, packaging, encryption, and delivery of live video to millions worldwide.
You will have hands-on experience with x264, x265, NVENC, or equivalent codec implementations and APIs. Additionally, you will be expected to tune codecs across CPU and hardware accelerators, master HLS/DASH/CMAF, and ship rock-solid production pipelines.
Requirements:
* Deep understanding of C++ programming language, particularly in performance-critical, real-time systems
* Hands-on experience with build systems, binary distribution, and reproducible builds
* Strong expertise in OTT streaming formats (HLS, DASH, CMAF)
Ideal Skills:
* Kubernetes
* Low-level debugging
* AWS, GCP, Akamai, Linode Cloud tooling
