Our client is a leading player in the FMCG sector, with a strong portfolio of well-known brands and a solid presence in the national and international markets. With a particular focus on the Horeca/On Trade channel, the company is looking to reinforce its team with a Channel Trade Marketing Manager who will be responsible for driving strategic execution.

The Channel Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing the Trade Marketing strategy for the On Trade channel, ensuring seamless brand activation aligned with marketing objectives and the channel's dynamics. The role plays a critical part in connecting brand strategies with execution in the field, fostering sustainable growth for both the business and its partners.

Description

* Translate the On Trade channel strategy into actionable and locally relevant Trade Marketing plans.
* Contribute to brand planning by providing channel-specific insights and ensuring alignment with the HoReCa environment.
* Design and implement the annual Trade Marketing plan, including activation calendars, visibility tools, and promotional mechanics.
* Ensure alignment with brand marketing teams and tailor strategies to fit channel and customer needs.

Support the deployment of Picture of Success

standards to drive execution excellence in the field.

Monitor execution in collaboration with the field teams and recommend corrective actions when needed.

Manage BTL and Capex budgets for assigned brands, ensuring resources are allocated in line with strategic priorities and delivering expected ROI.

Define KPIs and track the performance of Trade Marketing activities.

Analyze channel, consumer, and shopper data to generate actionable insights that support strategic decisions.

Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Management, and other departments to ensure alignment from planning to execution.

Act as the main point of contact for brand teams in all matters related to activation in the HoReCa channel.

* Develop compelling commercial tools and selling stories to support sell-in and sell-out efforts.
* Collaborate with the Capability team in creating training materials linked to campaigns and strategic shifts.
* Evaluate the effectiveness of Trade Marketing initiatives based on performance metrics and field feedback.
* Identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate learnings into future plans.

Profile

* University degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Communications, or related areas.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in Trade Marketing, preferably within the HoReCa channel.
* Proven experience in Trade Marketing, Marketing, Shopper Marketing, or Sales roles.
* Strong understanding of consumer behavior, channel dynamics, and customer needs.
* Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
* Fluent in Portuguese; intermediate English proficiency (minimum B1 level).
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of data and reporting tools is a plus.
* Availability to travel nationally.
* Legal eligibility to work in Portugal at the time of application (mandatory).
