Procurement Category Manager Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned procurement professional to lead our indirect procurement efforts.
This role is responsible for identifying opportunities and driving productivity results across various commodities, including Professional Services, Marketing & Advertisement, Car Fleet, Corporate Services, MRO, IT, and Logistics. The ideal candidate will have experience as a category manager for various indirect procurement commodities and possess excellent negotiation and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading negotiations and RFP processes from beginning to end
* Managing spend portfolios and developing global category strategies
* Collaborating with business unit and factory leaders to align on strategy, supplier selection, change management, and sustainability of value creation
* Effectively communicating and influencing internally and externally
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A BA/BS degree in business or engineering
* At least 6 years of experience in procurement/supply chain leadership
* Experience as a category manager for various indirect procurement commodities
* Fluency in English, with French as a plus
* Ability to work in a matrixial environment with cross-functional global teams
* Proven ability to exercise independent business judgment to drive strategy and results
