We're hiring a Junior Product Owner for someone looking to start a career in product, beginning with a strong focus on validation, quality, and product understanding. You will work closely with Product Leadership to turn research and priorities into clear, validated execution. You'll start by reviewing and validating outputs and gradually take ownership of refining and defining product work. This role is designed as an IEFP-supported professional internship, focused on developing foundational skills in product management. It is about learning product through validation and critical thinking. Responsibilities Start from a product-focused QA perspective, as your main responsibility in the first phase of the role, validating features as an end user and identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and unclear behavior Apply a product mindset during validation from day one, assessing whether features solve real user needs and challenging their relevance and impact Progress from validating backlog items to progressively creating simple backlog items that cover user flows, edge cases, and behavior using AI, product standards, and best practices, with guidance from Product Leadership Work closely with developers to clarify expected behavior and provide structured, actionable feedback based on validation Use AI tools to support validation and learning, while applying critical thinking to improve outputs What We're Looking For Ability to validate, challenge, and improve outputs Strong attention to detail and structured thinking Curiosity about how products work Comfortable working with developers and learning through collaboration Willingness to learn and go deep into Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, governance/administration) Comply with IEFP intership requirements () Qualification aligned with the Portuguese National Qualifications Framework (QNQ): Level 6 (Bachelor's degree - Licenciatura) Degree in either Engineering / Business / Management Fluency in English (written and spoken) #J-18808-Ljbffr
