Responsibilities Ensure system functionality and performance by implementing controls that fulfill contractual obligations. Lead and support project managers in minimizing project risk and executing projects within the defined budget. Oversee integration tasks for material handling systems and provide expert guidance. Provide technical support to the organization, mainly PM and SIM, and report deviations and improvements. Ensure all required functions are tested and accepted by the customer. Execute PLC programming and prepare CX‐planner for on‐site testing. Test against emulation before going on‐site. Deliver technical solution content, PLC code, and automation documentation. Provide input regarding pricing of deliverables and automation hours. Secure technical feedback and participate in expert reviews (MS2a & MS2b) to ensure delivery of the best viable solution. Prepare, commission, and document PLC engineering tasks. Manage PAC/FAC processes. Collaborate with the Head of Automation department, project managers, system integration managers, other departments in project execution, R&D, and customers. Qualifications Diploma degree in Electrical, Controls, Software Engineering, or equivalent. Proficient user, preferably a super user, of Siemens programs. Ability to work with peripheral devices and equipment. Ability to work independently and in teams. Extensive experience in PLC controls engineering. Strong verbal and written communication skills at different levels. Proficiency in spoken and written English. Excellent planning and organizational skills (time management). Structured and systematic approach to troubleshooting. Ability to analyze programming code, data, and information. Willingness to travel 100–150 days a year.
