Ecommerce Manager Job Description
Drive online sales and revenue growth through strategic digital marketing initiatives for a leading wellness brand. Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies in alignment with overall business objectives and brand standards.
* Manage all aspects of the website, including curating and organizing product listings (descriptions, images, and pricing content updates), and customer experience optimization;
* Implement effective digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, engagement, and conversion on the website (email marketing, social media advertising, pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, and affiliate marketing);
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive e-commerce strategies in alignment with overall business objectives and brand standards;
* Managing the website, ensuring it is user-friendly, visually appealing, and functional; this may involve overseeing web development, design, and content updates;
* Ensure a positive user experience throughout the customer journey from browsing to checkout and post-purchase support; addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and implementing measures to improve customer satisfaction and retention;
* Implementing strategies to increase online sales such as optimizing product pages for search engines (SEO), improving conversion rates, and implementing upselling or cross-selling techniques;
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as website traffic, conversion rates, average order value, and customer acquisition cost; using data analytics tools to gain insights into customer behavior and preferences, and making data-driven decisions to improve performance.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field required; Master's degree preferred;
* Minimum 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the wellness, cosmetic, hospitality, or luxury retail sector;
* Proven track record of success in driving online sales and revenue growth through strategic digital marketing initiatives;
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions;
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and departments;
* Creative thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement;
* Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment;
* Advanced skills on Excel and PowerPoint; team player, proactive, and able to work under tight deadlines;
* Fluency in English, proficiency in Portuguese desirable.
