Role Overview:
We are seeking for someone to lead the design, development, and cross-platform deployment of high-performance applications and sophisticated user interfaces using modern C++ and the Qt framework.
What You'll Do:
* Application Development: Design and implement robust, performant application features using modern C++.
* Cross-Platform Delivery: Ensure seamless building, testing, and deployment of applications across primary platforms: Linux and Windows.
* Engineering Quality: Champion best practices by enforcing robust unit/integration testing, rigorous code reviews, and effective version control.
* Integration: Develop modules to integrate the front-end application with various data backends.
What You'll Bring:
C++ & Framework Mastery
* Expert C++: Deep proficiency in modern C++ standards (C++17/20).
* Qt Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with the Qt framework (preferably Qt 6) for cross-platform development.
* QML Proficiency: Demonstrated ability to build sophisticated, responsive user interfaces using QML.
Deployment & Tooling
* Cross-Platform Experience: Proven ability to build, debug, and deliver applications targeting Linux and Windows.
* Containerization: Familiarity with Docker for standardized packaging and ensuring consistent deployment environments.
* Build Systems: Proficient with CMake for managing cross-platform build configurations.
Foundational Skills
* Testing & Quality: You view unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews as standard, non-negotiable parts of the workflow.
* Adaptability: Ability to work with and integrate data from various backend systems.
* Versioning: Proficiency using Git.
Nice-to-Have (Not required but would be good)
* Experience deploying to macOS environments.
* familiarity with Python is a significant advantage.
* Direct experience with WebSockets for real-time data communication.
