About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Windows System Administrator to join our IT Infrastructure team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, configuring, and ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of Windows-based systems and servers across the organization.
This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to system optimization, and the ability to collaborate effectively with IT and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, etc.).
Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring optimal uptime and reliability.
Manage user accounts, permissions, and access control through Active Directory and related tools.
Perform regular system updates, patch management, and backup/recovery operations.
Implement and maintain security best practices, including antivirus, firewall, and access control policies.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
Support virtualization environments (e.G., Hyper-V, VMware).
Collaborate with other IT teams on infrastructure projects and service improvements.
Maintain documentation for configurations, procedures, and system inventory.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Windows System Administrator or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server ***************) and related technologies.
Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and PowerShell scripting.
Familiarity with virtualization platforms (Hyper-V, VMware).
Understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPN, routing, firewalls).
Experience with monitoring tools (e.G., Zabbix, Nagios, or similar).
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Microsoft certifications (e.G., MCSA, MCSE, AZ-104) are a strong plus.
Nice to Have
Experience with Azure or AWS cloud integration.
Knowledge of automation and configuration management tools (e.G., Ansible, SCCM).
Familiarity with ITIL practices and service management processes.
