About the RoleEnsure the efficient, cost-effective, and strategic procurement of goods, services, or materials, guaranteeing that the company has the necessary resources within the defined deadlines, costs, and quality standards, thereby contributing to the organization's operational continuity and competitiveness.ResponsibilitiesTransportation Negotiation and Procurement: Actively sourcing, conducting comparative analysis of rates, and negotiating directly with freight forwarders to contract land, sea, and air transportation services.Transportation/Customs Documentation Management: Preparation and validation of documentation for intra-EU and non-EU markets (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Single Administrative Documents, etc.), ensuring compliance with regulations.Operational Control: Management of purchase order pickups and sample shipments, ensuring the smooth flow of the supply chain and the resolution of logistics issues.Customer Service/Flow Control: Proactive management of customer relationships, providing real-time updates on production status, outbound logistics, and delivery forecasts.
Sending all documentation and information to customers, including real-time updates on production status, shipping forecasts, and delivery dates.Monitoring delivery deadlines, quantities, and compliance with technical specifications.Researching and selecting reliable suppliers, evaluating quality, delivery capacity, and reputation.Maintain close relationships with key suppliers, negotiating prices, delivery times, and commercial terms.Monitor orders, deliveries, and invoices, ensuring they align with orders and contracts.Identify deviations, risks, or supply chain issues and implement corrective measures.Provide support to the production planning and logistics team, preventing stockouts or excess inventory.Communicate with the finance department to ensure compliance with invoicing and payments.Qualifications and Required SkillsDegree in Logistics, Production Management, Engineering, or a related fieldAt least 3 years of experienceStrong knowledge of negotiation and purchasing techniques, as well as quotation, bidding, and contract processesAdvanced Excel skillsBasic understanding of international trade, taxation, and logisticsExceptional communication skillsOrganization and attention to detailCollaborative spirit and results-oriented mindset
