Mid Backend Developer (Java & Batch) Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain backend applications with a strong focus on Java and batch processing Develop and maintain solutions using Java, Spring Boot 3, and Spring Batch Build and integrate REST APIs to support business applications and services Participate in the design and implementation of scalable and high-performance backend systems Manage application deployments and releases using XL Deploy and XL Release Work with SQL databases to develop, optimize, and maintain queries and data processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production and application issues Ensure code quality through best development practices, code reviews, and testing Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Requirements 3+ years of professional experience in Backend Development Strong experience with Java and Spring Framework technologies Hands-on experience with Spring Batch and Spring Boot 3 Experience with Maven and GIT Experience designing and consuming REST APIs Experience with XL Deploy and XL Release Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases Fluent Portuguese and English Location: Porto or Lisbon, Portugal Work Model: Hybrid (2 days/week in the office) Project Type: Long-term Project Experience Level: Mid-Level (3+ years) Salary Package & Benefits: 1000-1500 + SA + Flex Benefits If you are interested, send your CV to mspinto@primeit.pt. #J-18808-Ljbffr
