Process Optimization Expert
We are seeking an experienced process optimization expert to join our production team at our Ovar plant. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for reviewing and optimizing our processes to ensure efficiency and productivity.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead cost-saving initiatives by optimizing resource utilization
* Monitor and analyze process metrics (yield, throughput, downtime) and drive continuous improvement
* Collaborate with Production, Logistics, and Maintenance teams to execute improvement projects
* Develop and implement standard operating procedures, work instructions, and process documentation
* Provide technical training and support to Production supervisors and operators
Qualifications:
* Academic degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field
* Previous experience in production process engineering activities, with a focus on continuous improvement
* Hands-on approach, working closely with the Production shop floor
* Proactive, autonomous player with strong problem-solving skills
* Able to analyze complex systems and develop innovative solutions
* Solid communication skills, able to collaborate with stakeholders in a team environment
* Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written
* Residency in Ovar or nearby area required
