ROLE SUMMARY St Peter's International School is a prestigious, top-ranked institution in Portugal, located on a modern 37,000 m2 campus in Palmela, serving a multicultural community of over 40 nationalities. We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Business Teacher to join our secondary faculty on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to students in the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma Programme (DP). This role is critical for ensuring students are well‐prepared for their final assessments and maintaining academic continuity through May and June. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Examination Preparation: Provide intensive support and revision for students approaching their final IGCSE and IB DP Business Management exams. High‐Quality Instruction: Deliver engaging, inquiry‐based lessons that foster critical thinking and real‐world application of business concepts. Assessment & Feedback: Mark coursework, provide constructive feedback on Internal Assessments (IAs), and monitor student progress. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning environment consistent with the Inspired Education philosophy. Collaboration: Work closely with the Business & Economics department to ensure curriculum consistency during the final term. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE Education: A degree in Business, Economics, or a related field; a recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is preferred. Experience: Proven experience teaching IB Business Management and/or Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies. Skills: Excellent command of the English language and strong digital literacy for integrating educational technology. Mindset: Flexible, dedicated, and able to step into a fast‐paced international environment at short notice.
