Role Summary
King's College School, Cascais, a recent addition to the Inspired Group, currently caters to Year 9 students and will expand to Year 10 next year. The school primarily offers the Cambridge International curriculum and will introduce IGCSEs from other examination boards. In September 2026, it will begin offering the International Baccalaureate.
The school has established a reputation for excellence in Portugal and aims to become a leading educational institution regionally and beyond. Its prime location, outstanding facilities, and dedicated staff have driven significant growth, with student numbers reaching 704 this year, a 55% increase from the previous year.
In 2024, the school will launch a new boarding provision for up to 50 pupils, located within the campus with views of the Sintra mountains and Atlantic coast. Facilities include a 25m swimming pool, tennis and padel courts, gyms, basketball courts, dance and music facilities, and 5G astroturf for sports like football and rugby. Staff and boarders will have full access to these amenities.
