A Snapshot of Your Day
Join Siemens Energy as a GenAI Engineer and lead the transformation of how our engineers interact with technical documentation, tools, and design/manufacturing processes You'll collaborate with multi-functional teams and external partners, consult with domain experts, and apply advanced AI techniques to solve real-world challenges. Your work will directly enhance process quality, reduce costs, and boost efficiency, supporting our mission to innovate and lead in the energy sector. Imagine architecting and implementing cutting-edge AI systems that make a tangible impact on the future of energy.
How You'll Make an Impact
1. Design and implement document processing pipelines to structure complex technical documentation for efficient retrieval.
2. Develop and optimise Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems for accurate information synthesis from large-scale repositories.
3. Architect and deploy multi-agent AI workflows using frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen.
4. Create evaluation frameworks to assess and enhance the accuracy of multi-agent AI systems.
5. Implement guardrails and validation mechanisms to ensure outputs meet engineering standards and governance requirements.
6. Drive continuous improvement through prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and experimentation with agent orchestration patterns.
What You Bring
7. Academic background in computer science, machine learning or related fields.
8. Proven experience in agentic workflow frameworks, unstructured data processing, and RAG architectures.
9. Hands-on Python skills and ability to debug and optimise complex AI systems. Strong understanding of prompt engineering, few-shot learning, and techniques to improve model outputs.
10. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication skills, and an agile mindset for managing multiple projects.
11. Fluent English is required while German language skills are a plus.
12. Willingness to travel (~25%) mainly in Central Europe.
