A leading company in supply chain solutions is looking for a Purchaser (m/f/d) to reinforce their Procurement & Purchasing team.
Your new role
* Prepare the strategy for all category management activities;
* Lead the process of identifying new suppliers and managing the portfolio of current ones of all strategic categories of material;
* Establish and maintain a supplier base strategy according to purchase categories strategy;
* Support the operational purchasing requests for Materials, Equipments and Services;
* Execute Purchase Orders and/or contract if required;
* Support and assist in the supplier negotiation processes in the technical, financial and delivery aspects;
* Collaborate with the various areas of the company, in order to ensure and promote compliance with the principles, procedures and rules to be followed in the purchasing processes;
* Promote the continuous improvement process, often re-evaluating processes and working methods;
* Execute the reporting of performance indicators, to provide the necessary information for decision making processes.
What you'll need to suceed
* Higher education degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or another field relevant to the role (plus);
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or category management roles;
* Solid or specialized technical knowledge in purchasing processes and negotiation;
* Experience with ERP systems (SAP is a plus);
* Advanced skills in MS Office;
* Fluency in English;
* Planning and organizational skills;
* Excellent time and priority management.
