About The JobThe Documentation Drafting Analyst's mission is to manage the risks undertaken by the business lines by ensuring the integrity and accuracy of bookings.
The team supports Trading and Sales desks by drafting OTC physical confirmations for various products (vanilla, exotics, complex structures) across asset classes such as Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Credit and Interest Rate Derivatives, Equity Derivatives, and commodities.
They play a critical control role in reconciling bookings with term sheets and confirmations, and are responsible for notifying clients of post-trade events.
The team ensures control over all transactions requiring manual physical confirmation, identifies and reports issues, and collaborates with traders, legal, and other departments to resolve them.
They also focus on process improvements, particularly in straight-through processing (STP), risk and control management, new product initiatives, and expanding business in various regions.
Your Main Activities AreDraft legal confirmations based on ISDA definitions for products including Swaps, Forwards, and Options, such as Barrier, Knock-in Knock-out, Accumulator, and Hybrid Strategies.Review risk bookings and term sheets to ensure alignment before documentation is sent to clients.Monitor workflows to prioritize confirmations and ensure timely dispatch.Meet regulatory timelines.Notify clients of post-trade events like barrier triggers, expiries, exercises, and early terminations.Serve as the internal escalation point for documentation and template queries.Collaborate with Matching teams to resolve confirmation discrepancies.Maintain relationships with Front Office Trading and Sales, Legal, Compliance, IT, and other operational areas globally.Profile And Skills To SuccessBachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, or Accounting.Proficient in Microsoft Excel.Fluent in English, both oral and written.Strong communication skills.Ability to collaborate and work in a team.Attention to detail and rigor.Client-focused attitude.Adaptability and critical thinking skills.Why Joining BNP Paribas?BNP Paribas is a leading banking institution operating in 63 countries with nearly 183,000 employees, including over 146,000 in Europe.
